Hi everyone!

I hope you’re all doing well!

I’m excited to invite you to our very first S'mores Club happening this Friday, August 16th, at 8:30 PM EST! 🍫🔥

Details in a sec… first, some big news!

Otter Beach is officially ready for our friends and family!

It’s a 10×12’ natural cedar screened gazebo. There’s a path and hand-dug stone-covered steps down from the pasture to the deck, lit by solar lights. Swoosh back the netting door/curtain, take your shoes off, and feel the “ahhhh” start to wash over you. 😁 

You’ll sleep on 400 thread count cotton sheets with an assortment of blankets so you get just the perfect squishy warmth as you sleep. As you drift off to dreamland, you’ll be surrounded by gently twinkling fairy lights and the sound of crickets. The creek will babble, but only quietly.

Poetic, right?

So, full disclosure… there are a couple of things to mention here.

  • It’s off-grid. No power, no water. Well, there’s the creek, but don’t drink from it.

  • No water also means no toilet - except for the port-a-potty next to the barn. It’s serviced weekly.

  • Otter Beach is on the creek. You’ll need to be able to navigate steps to get to it - and a slope down to the creek as well (if you want to go put your tootsies in the water).

  • On the other side of the creek is a road. It’s not busy - we’re really rural. But now and then some knucklehead decides to zoom by with his music blasting. Our first guest said, “I heard him go by, but to be honest, the sound of the crickets and the creek muffled it and I fell back asleep immediately.”

If you’d like to stay here, just REPLY and I’ll give you some more information and answer your questions. I honestly can’t think of anyone I’d rather have here as one of our first guests. You’ve been ‘here’ since the beginning.

It’s going to be a relaxed and fun evening where we can gather virtually, roast some marshmallows, and enjoy some delicious s'mores together. Whether you're a s'mores expert or trying them for the first time, it’s all about having a good time and connecting with each other!

Feel free to bring your favorite toppings and a comfy chair! It’s a great opportunity to unwind, share some laughs, and enjoy a sweet treat together.
